INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz Swol Añejo Tequila
  • ½ oz orange curaçao
  • ½ oz orgeat syrup
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ¼ oz dark rum float (optional)
  • Garnish: Lime wheel, mint, and cherry
HOW TO PREPARE
  • Shake all but the rum with ice, strain into hurricane glass over crushed ice.
  • Float dark rum on top if desired, garnish generously

Float & Freshen

For a perfect rum float, pour the dark rum slowly over the back of a spoon to keep it floating atop the cocktail. Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the brightest, most balanced tartness. Don’t skimp on the garnish — a mint sprig gently slapped and a vibrant cherry bring aroma and color that elevate the tiki experience. Optional: add a light sprinkle of grated nutmeg on top for a warm spice note.
